Jon Brown named Volunteer of the Year

In recognition of more than five years of service to the community and our region's environment, Jon Brown, Partners + Napier director of interactive services, was named Volunteer of the Year by the Genesee Valley Recreation and Park Society. An avid mountain biker, Jon teaches the sport to young adults. Additionally, he's very active in building and maintaining trails, as well as creating trail maps and developing websites for biking. He's also a founding member of GROC (Genesee Regional Offroad Cyclists). With over 600 members, the group advocates for the shared use of public trails for biking and hiking, and educates riders on safety and responsible trail use and management.
