Wisk-it
Do something stupid last weekend? Your "friend" put the proof on Facebook? The detergent, Wisk, has an app for that. It won't scrub the offending photo from the internet, but it will make it easy for your friend to remove it from the social net. A spritz of sweetness
Looks like Glade, tastes like whatever Splenda tastes like. It's Splenda Mist. A little larger than a lipstick, I guess the idea is to carry it in your purse so you're never without. Comes in several designs. Doubles as a breath freshener? (source: MarketingDaily, 11/2/09)

Ad folk beware
Spammers and hackers have started using ad networks to spread malware. Gawker Media was recently sold a fake Suzuki banner by a team posing as employees of Spark SMG. The ad didn't infect every computer, so Gawker's testing didn't show any issues. NYTimes.com had a similar problem when a purportedly legitimate Vonage ad took over the Sunday Times with urgent, scary messages about viruses and the need to purchase software to clean them up RIGHT NOW. Would you like some fresh ground B12 with that?
Don't like veggies, just sprinkle some Vitamin Spice cinnamon on your buttered toast. One Tbsp has the nutrient equivalent of ½ a multivitamin pill. Why is it that the more obsessed we become with eating healthy, the more ingenious we become at avoiding actually eating healthy. http://vitaminspice.net/cart/index.php?main_page=index

Green Apple
25% of consumers point to Apple as the most environmentally friendly tech company. At the very top of the heap. How is this Nugget-worthy? Greenpeace ranks them 11 out of 17, and the company's on most green advocates' naughty list for their lack of transparency. Another case of pretty = good. Data not available nor required. Colbert on ice
The Colbert Nation took pity on the US speed skating team after their sponsor, DSB, a Dutch bank, went belly up. Colbert, whose show is also soliciting fan donations for the team, explained his sponsorship decision thusly: "We must ensure that it is America's 38-inch thighs on that medal platform!" I can picture the telethon: Give or Stephen will don tights! (source: MediaDaily, 11/3/09)

Ho ching ching
Moms with kids at home expect to spend an average of $672 on gifts this holiday season, or about the same as last year. However, moms with older children plan to spend more than last year. (source: Moms Coalition/MediaPost Engage:Moms, 11/4/09)

Want to save more money?
Ask your bank to remind you. In a new study, when banks sent customers text messages reminding them to save so their goals could be achieved, the average amount saved rose 6%. A little nagging goes a long way. (source: WSJ, 11/4/09)

Stalker mail
An unsolicited birthday card/offer from a bar I've never been to. Just because I know how this works doesn't make it any less creepy. Bad direct mail, bad. (source: my mailbox. Weak photoshopping
