Move comes on the heels of new client wins, capabilities, and revenue streams.
March 25, 2019

After adding eight new clients to its roster in the last year, increasing net revenue by 31 percent and expanding capabilities and staff to new levels, integrated creative agency Partners + Napier has moved into its national headquarters in downtown Rochester’s Metropolitan Building. This 40,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility is designed to support collaboration and provides a flexible space in which the agency can grow for years to come.

“We are proud to have the trust and partnership of our clients that led to this growth and triggered our physical expansion,” said Sharon Napier, CEO of Partners + Napier. “None of this would be possible without them – especially long-standing clients like Constellation Brands, Excellus BlueCross BlueShield and Xerox Corporation. From the beginning, we aspired to be a national agency with global reach, and we’re thrilled to have done so from our Rochester base.”

The agency exceeded $23 million in net revenue in 2018, growing its relationships with current clients and adding new clients such as Google, Conduent, Pyrex, The Strong National Museum of Play, CoreLife Eatery, and Schuman Cheese. To support this growth, the agency increased headcount by nearly 10 percent, with staff now exceeding 160 people. Its new space was designed to support the agency’s high-demand services and accommodate future expansion.

“It was very important for us to build a connected space – walls are down, and creative energy is up,” said Courtney Cotrupe, president of Partners + Napier. “We work in a demanding and dynamic industry, so the space is designed for the whole person. Whether you want to knock out an assignment at your desk, move to one of the many open, collaborative spaces, or work privately in one of the dozen multi-use rooms – the ‘resi-mercial’ design is full of deliberate features to inspire and invigorate the team to do their best work.”

The new office centers around a signature staircase – one of the largest in Rochester – that will serve as the agency’s main gathering place. Other key design elements include:

The Metropolitan is an iconic building on the Rochester skyline. Standing 392 feet high with 26 floors, it is one of Rochester’s tallest skyscrapers. The building features 10 floors of commercial space and 13 floors of residential living space, attracting the creative class downtown to work, eat, shop, and live. The project was completed in partnership with Gallina Development Corporation, Bergmann, and The Pike Company. Partners + Napier now occupies the third and fourth floors, and has the largest footprint in the building.
