The Vote Needs U Wins Gold at National ADDY Awards
The Vote Needs U, a bold public service campaign that rumbled through the 2018 midterm elections with a viral mix of digital, social and out-of-home depictions of the country’s most polarizing issues, made a name for itself at the American Advertising Awards (ADDYs) on June 7, one of the industry's largest creative competitions that attracts nearly 35,000 entries each year.
The campaign took home two golds and one silver for three total awards at the National ADDY Awards, after a dazzling performance at both the district and local levels leading up to it.
Prior to making it to the national stage, the campaign was awarded nine times on the local level and eight times at the district level, which encompasses a large competitive area in the Northeast, including major markets like NYC, Philadelphia, D.C., and others.
