What’s It Like to Be the 15th Most Effective Agency in North America? We Asked a Bunch of 15-Year-Olds

Partners + Napier was ranked 15th Most Effective Individual Agency in North America this year by the Effie Effectiveness Index. And when you’re an agency that lives and dies by the results you deliver for your clients — and you’re one of the only agencies in the top 15 not located in New York City, Los Angeles or Chicago — and you’ve achieved this ranking after just three years of Effie entries, well, you’ve just gotta celebrate.

To help us share our Effie pride and have some fun in the process, we turned to the experts on what it feels like be 15: real 15-year-olds.

“These kids obviously know nothing about the Effie Awards or why ranking 15th is such a big deal, so it’s a bit of self-aware fun,” said Group Creative Director Mike Baron, who also directed the project. “It was a riot to shoot. We were cracking up on set all day.”

“While we’re very proud of this achievement, garden variety chest beating is lazy and ineffective,” said Pete VonDerLinn, Executive Creative Director. “We believe in earning the attention of our audience, just like we would do for a client. It was much more important that we create something that’s smart, human, and enjoyable to watch.”

Partners + Napier had a great showing at the 2018 Effie Awards, including our first Gold Effie for the “Blue Hen” campaign developed in partnership with Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield Delaware. Show judges also recognized the campaign as a contender for the Grand Effie, one of the top eight most effective marketing campaigns of the year.
